Dr. Stephanie Adams Svendez brings years of expertise and work across community mental health, school, and hospital systems. She specializes in bridging the gap between adults, parents, children, schools, and everything in between. She provides assessment, consultation, advocacy, and therapy services from a neurodiversity affirming lens.
Services
Psychological Assessments
I use a comprehensive, neurodiversity-affirming therapeutic assessment approach to help you understand you or your child’s important strengths and areas of need. I provide independent evaluations, diagnostic clarification, and recommendations across home, school, and therapy settings.
Consultation & Advocacy
I understand people do not exist in a vacuum and know exactly how to help you advocate for what you or your child need. From equipping you with knowledge about your Special Education rights to attending IEP meetings, I act as your family’s personal school psychologist or disability advocate!
Individual & Family Therapy
I am here to help you thrive. I specialize in parent coaching, individual therapy, and family therapy for children and adolescents with emotional and behavior problems. I also work with adults to help you live the life you want. I’m experienced in treating difficulties ranging from anxiety to depression to learning problems. I use a multicultural and intersectional approach to understand the whole picture.
Fees
Overview
Fees range by service and client need. Visit each service page for more details. I reserve a limited number of sliding scale appointments to enable access to all clients, regardless of ability to pay.
Therapy: $260 - 320 per session
Assessment: Starting at $2,880 per evaluation
Consultation & Advocacy: $260 per hour
Insurance
I provide superbills upon request that you may submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. Please consult with your insurance provider for more information about your policy. Learn more about out-of-network therapy services here.
